Clear error message

Asked by GuruW28BC May 23, 2018 at 12:05 PM about the 1998 Lincoln Continental

Question type: General

How do I reset the error message "Drivers door open" on my 98 Lincoln
Continental?

I do appreciate the help but my question was how to reset/disable the error code. Any ideas?

Spray WD40 into the mechanism that latches the door to the body. This happens ALL the time to my Lincolns. After I used it, the codes disappeared & did not come back! If they return, clear the computer.
