just replaced the battery, but engine wont turn over

Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good, on all ends, not just at the battery. Voltage and ground both are important. Note the starter wiring diagram. Check the fuses in diagram, one fuse is hot all the time, the other fuse goes hot with key in the crank position, use a test light to check for voltage. See the relay, unplug the relay, use proper jumper wire between cavities 30 and 87, terminal 30 is hot all the time, the starter motor should crank the engine, if starter motor is ok. If you try that make sure transmission is in park or neutral and parking brake is set. If it cranks with jumper but not w/o, have to check control side of relay, right side in the diagram. The control side needs voltage and ground in order to energize relay. You can see transmission range sensor.
