how do I reset memory on 2015 forester after battery was replaced

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was able to reset the clock and date but cannot figure out how to even access the radio again. That screen seems to be at a factory setting to choose a language, etc. I've tried answering its questions and get a map set up but not for the radio.

I would read your owners manual. Next time use a battery saver!

Sounds like you have the clarion head unit in your forester. Please post a photo of your radio and I will give you step by step diagnosis. I’m very very very familiar with all Subaru radio issues.

Once we are out of double digit negative temps I will look at it again. Not willing to remove my gloves to take a picture. :) thank you for the reply.

No worries brother. Luckily we have a brand new state of the art shop at the dealership I work at so we are staying warm but it’s still horrible and only going to be getting worse over the next 3 days. Stay warm stay safe

I took a moment to better study the Subaru book that came with it and figured out how to program the radio again. Whew! Thanks for your offer of help as well.
