Does the 10/100,000 Kia hybrid battery warranty transfer to a second owner?

Asked by Kevin Dec 24, 2018 at 12:37 AM about the 2014 Kia Optima Hybrid

Question type: General

Looking at buying a 2014 Kia Hybrid, but being told the warranty for second
owner is 5/60,000 on hybrid battery.

Can anyone officially confirm or deny that the 10/100,000 Kia hybrid battery
warranty transfer to a second owner?

I would think it would transfer but read the warranty to know for sure!

I believe the laws in some states are manditory 150k mile warranty. I'm sure it's on the car and not the owner

The 10/100,000 dose not transfer to second owner. It becomes the 5/60,000
