CAN SOMEONE PLEASE RESPOND TO MY
POSTS?? I NEED TO KNOW WHAT WOULD BE
CAUSING MY 95 AUTOMATIC FORD ESCORT TO
SHUT OFF!?!? IT'S IDLING ROUGH. I HAVE A
BRAND NEW ALTERNATOR, BRAND NEW
BATTERY! IT STARTS AND THEN WHEN I GO TO
PUT IT IN DRIVE IT TRIES TO SHUT OFF. I DROVE
TO THE STORE AND WENT TO LEAVE AND WHEN I
PUT IT IN REVERSE IT TRIED TO DIE BUT I LIKE
GAS BRAKED IT AND ONCE I STARTED GOING
FORWARD AND GOING DOWN THE ROAD IT
SEEMED FINE BUT THEN WHEN I SLOWED DOWN
IT STARTED TRYING TO STALL AGAIN. IN P IT
IDLE'S AT ABOUT 600 RPMS . IS THIS WHAT ITS
SUPPOSED TOO IDLE AT? ANY SUGGESTIONS
PLEASE PLEASE???

Maybe your engine needs a tuneup. You could also try a fuel system cleaner. If the idle continues to be low a new idle control valve may be needed.
