2011 Kia Rio

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bought my 2011 Kia Rio used. Has 53000 miles.
Check engine light came on after 7 days. Took it to
O'Reilly's and had the code read. P0420 O2 sensor.
Started it this morning with the auto start feature.
Went out to go to work and the car was not
running. Started the car again manually. It was
hard to start and was running very rough and the
check engine light was flashing. Shut it off. Went
back out 10 mins later and tried to start it again.
Started right up and the check engine light went
out. Car was running normal again. Tried to drive it.
Power was lagging. Any ideas other than the O2
sensor?

The remote start feature is disabled when there is an engine code stored. Fix that code and all those related problems will stop.
