Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Hit an animal on vacation and had the radiator, fan and a/c something changed. Igot home and noticed there were drops under the car, dad tasted (EEW) it and said it was transmission fluid. Could the shop have missed something

The A/C something was the condenser That's up front. Anyway they sure could have missed something, it needs to go back to the collision/body shop, dealer, whomever did the repair. I have a feeling they are not going to give you trouble on this. If they do, call your insurance company and let them battle. You pay good money for premiums for that servive
You may have a transmission cooler up front also, and there is a small crack in the cooler, lines or couplings. Even if this was not damaged, it may have been removed to repair/replace the other parts and not connected up properly. Where is the leak under the car? Up front or in the area of the transmission? Depending if it was a small critter or a moose, there may be a transmission line or even the transmission itself suffered a pin hole puncture. Not to be gross, but bones are sharp when they are broken and can puncture through aluminum. Also are you still under warranty?
