My 325 CI produces smoke when it first starts. It has recently had a tune up and had the injectors cleaned. Is there a common problem that causes smoke at start up?

If the vehicle runs rough as well at start up, then you will need to check crankcase pressure. Simple to do with the engine running remove the oil cap it should take a light amount of force to remove. If it is hard to pull off then your oil seperator under the intake manifold has failed and will need to be replaced. This is really common for this vehicle and there is a upgraded kit for the vehicle, depending on if you already have it or don't. The updated kit is foam insulated to help prevent failures in cold temperature. This is of course a diag not in person and could be some other issue completely like piston rings leaking, valve stem seals leaking. But this is where I would start, hope it helps.

could possibly be Valve seals leaking Oil onto the pistons when the Engine is at rest. Run a compression test
