when I turn fan on it smells like stale pee does it mean I need to regas my air conditioning unit

Considering your car is a 2010. It has a A/C micron filter which if it gets clogged/dirty will make the air smell musky. That would be the cheapest repair to start with. I would then make sure there are no moisture issues in the blower motor.
