2010 Chevy Cobalt not starting

Asked by JN96 Jan 09, 2019 at 08:36 AM about the 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car won’t start. When I turn the key, everything
comes on but the vehicle. I replaced the starter,
ignition, and the battery. I’ve brought it to two
different mechanics and they couldn’t figure out
what the problem is. I’ve seen a lot of other people
with cobalts having this problem but never able to
find the solution.

I can't imagine any competent shop saying "sorry, we cant figure it out" and giving your car back to you. Find a quality shop with actual technicians who will trouble shoot it until they locate the problem. A shop that specializes in auto electrical work would be a good choice.

I could deffenetly see shops doing this my cars been in the dealership for almost 4 months and everytime I call them to check on it they say they don’t know give us Time it’s bs trying to rip people off went in for recalls and they fucked it and are trying to charge me for it
