If the negative cable is disconnected Will that reset the check engine,cruise & skid light from flashing?

on a 2009 I doubt it you cant hurt nothing by trying but leave it off for an hour or so,depending on the wizards that designed the program ,this sounds like a fluke in the wizards program to begin with.call a dealer shop and ask if a TSB has been sent for such a ridicules thing
