I have a 2009 ford escape that I got last month. It has been in the shop more than I have driven it. The gas cap light is on which causes the check engine light to come on.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This vehicle does not have a gas cap. It is
an easy fuel system. They have replaced
everything from sensors to the fuel pump.
They seemed to be stumped. This happens
a day after I get gas the lights come on. I
am very frustrated. I have another call into
the mechanics today. Help!! Anyone have
this happen or know a solution.

I did get the codes and it said loose gas cap or leak in the system. This is what it says every time. Everything has been replaced with the fuel system to try and figure it out.
