Battery light

Have the battery load tested and check the voltage output from the alternator.
Take it to your local auto parts store to have the charging system checked. It's free. Sounds like a bad battery, alternator or bad v belt

I agree with brian...also check all battery and alt. connections.Battery light is usually a signof low or no voltage
I have a 2010 Chevy Cobalt I replace the alternator twice and put a new battery on twice and I'm still having the same problem and the battery light keeps coming on in the lights keep flickering what is it going on cuz I am battered I'm confused
First stop replacing the same parts over and over. If it didn't fix anything the first time it won't the second time either. Instead spend that money on some proper diagnostics. You're not finding the problem yourself, so take it to a shop that specializes in auto electrical and have them find it for you. It could be something as simple as a bad ground or it might be some other electronic component that you haven't even thought of. Have you scanned it for trouble codes? That's actually the very first thing you should do. There is likely some sort of information stored in the car's computer, but even then, don't just start replacing parts. Make sure you know what is actually wrong first or this car will bankrupt you.
