Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I know i need to replace my radiator because
my coolant and I believe my water aldo just spits
out when car over heats after 6 or 8 miles or so og
driving. My question is does radiator sealant help
and how long does it last and if I use it do I have to
clean it out?

Radiator anti-leak can work for pin holes but nothing much bigger.

I'm assuming from your question the coolant is coming out of the radiator cap due to overheating ... if that's true than radiator sealant may only make the problem worse ...Before you spend a lot of money on a new radiator try ..a new radiator cap, make sure to refill the radiator with COOLANT not water and while filling squeeze and release big hose the first 3-5 minutes of the engine running (or if the hose becomes too hot) after the engine runs about 5 minutes turn off the engine , wait about 15 minutes then carefully remove the radiator cap and refill the coolant that "settled" in the engine after the air was displaced ,,,
