Single clunk when I press gas after coming to a stop

Asked by Sabrinam1996 Sep 28, 2016 at 11:29 PM about the 2006 Dodge Stratus

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I slow or come to a complete stop, then
press the gas to go, a single clunk sound happens.
I can feel it under my foot on the gas pedal, and it
sounds like it's coming from that general direction.
What could this be?

Is there any way to hazard a guess which one it might be? Like any other sympToms that could come with?

Need to check each one of those above, but can say that a cv joint can clunk and will get worse as time goes on to popping repeatedly while turning until repeatedly while going straight until it breaks completely. I would stop by a shop and let them check the front end out.
