Dose anyone know why there is no dip stick for the transmission or filler cap.

Alot of cars now have sealed transmissions. There are ways to check the level...add...drain etc. You will have to research your particular vehicle. Google

if it is like my 05 CTS it does not have one it has to be put on a lift at a shop so it will be completely level I recommend taking it to a dealership or good transmission shop for service. my husband tried to do it at home the first time it was a nightmare to do. and we still had to take it to the transmission shop for them to fix. If we would have taken it to the shop to start with we could have saved 100 on the stuff we bought to do it ourselves.
