Bleeding the brakes

Need to change the brake light switch that is connected to the master
cylinder  do i need to bleed the braker afterwards

No you do not only need to bleed if you remove a part of the brake system that releases brake fluid.

Like firebird338 posted, If no brake fluid comes out you should be good to go. If fluid comes out then bleed the brakes.
