I need some help in changing my door lock cylinder
on my 61 ford falcon. Thank you

Every door lock cylinder I've change has been held in with a U shaped spring clip accessible once the inner door panel has been removed. Or are you having other issues?

    the rod from the outside door handle is disconnected from the door latch retaining clip. the old one still in place . does this mean that I need to replace door latch retaining clip.
