Being Locked INSIDE my Murano!

Wednesday night my 09 murano seized up on the
highway. The alternator & battery dead. I could not
get out of my car! The door latch would not work,
my fob of course didnt work..it was scary. I was
fortunate that I left the window cracked open and
was able to hand my manual key thru the window
and could then be let out. This is an extreme safety
issue!! What if I run off our lane into the neighbors
pond this winter, go into a ravine or engine fire. I
am now carrying an axe in my car. This car has
been nothing but headaches for me. I have
dumped alot of money into it, and my pay off
amount is over double of what it's worth (my fault
there) I am stuck with this, very disappointed and
would NEVER recommend to anyone!!

You can't manually unlock the doors from inside?
