My,Mom bought a new Ford Fairlane in 1966. The car had single headlights,not the more common 'stacked' headlights. It was dark metallic green and it was a two door hardtop. It had some minor problem and the local Ford garage slimy assholes convinced her to trade it in on a piece of shit used Pinto. I was not aware of her trade until some weeks later. I really liked that car. It didn't have a scratch or dent in it when she 'traded' it off.
