transmission stuttering

when going up hill in o/d the trans wants to act like its trying to shift its a lite jerking but its gone when o/d if off  can anyone help with this   check engine light flashed for a few times and then went off ad hasnt come back on.  any news will help

Could be a load of things - Fluid low / Fluid dark and needs replacing / Filter partially clogged. See what the Computer is seeing also It should have logged a code in its history memory
