Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok, my oil sending unit has already been replaced!  So, I guess I have to check
the oil pressure!  I am a novice - so I think I have to take this to a repair shop!!

You can get a mechanical oil pressure gauge for 20 bucks or so. plumb it in where the sender goes and read the pressure. First you may want to check the sender circuit. with the key on, disconnect the sender wire. the lite should be off or the gauge will deflect all the way, then ground the wire, the lite will turn on or the gauge deflect the other way
