is ti ok for new coil spring to be shorter than old ones

I have a 1969 el camino 396 with air ordered new front coil springs for a big
block with air got a set of moog springs they are about 2 inches shorter than the
ones i took out is this normal

I would check that order before you install or man handle those , I would think the ride height may be lower , too low . .

No they should be the same or maybe just a touch taller due to fatigue of the stock springs.
