1966 chevy el camino conversion from column shift to console shift. asking how to determine exact location for floor board cut-out, and size/configuration.

The easiest way is to lay out your shifter where it is most comfortable for you. Then install the cable to the shifter. the cable will lay down naturally. Right around where it touches the floor is where you will need the hole.
