My front is shimmying around 65 -70 miles per hour. What could be causing it beside the tires?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had new tires put on just a few months ago and the car's shimmying went away - it was great, but only a few months later (maybe 1000 miles or fewer later) the shimmying is back.  after putting brand new tires on the car, what else would cause the shimmying to go away for a while but re-emerge less than 1000 miles later?

Need to have the front end checked out, alignment, struts/shocks, tie rods, etc. The tires may have temp. changed it but now it is back to its old tricks.

I had the tires balanced and my mechanics notices rear wheel was bent using 5 oz. weight. i bought another wheel; it balanced with 2.5 oz. and the shimmy seems to have gone away.
