If you're trying to steal this vehicle, you've come to the wrong forum! But, if you're trying to figure out why it won't start, you need to do some good old fashioned troubleshooting. Which, by the way, nobody seems to know how to do anymore. If the scan tool doesn't spell out the problem, they're done. It doesn't matter if we're talking about a 1923 Ford or a 2023 Ford or anything in between. They all need just three things to run. Fuel, ignition, and compression. That's it. So you have to figure out what's missing. Spray a little starting fluid down the carburetor. That's the big thing on top of the engine. It should run for a few seconds on that. If it does, you have a fuel problem. If not, you either have an ignition (no spark) problem or no compression. Check for spark first. Remove one of the spark plug wires from the spark plug and stick a large metal screwdriver in the end of the spark plug wire. Hold it, by the handle, near something metal that's not painted while a helper cranks the engine. You should see a strong rhythmic spark jumping from the screwdriver as the engine cranks over. If you don't, you have an ignition problem. If you do then it's time for a compression test. If all cylinders test very low or zero the timing chain has jumped. Hope that helps! Jim

One hot wire from the battery to the coil and one to the starter solenoid hot terminal, to be removed when the engine starts. After you steal the car, contact me about buying it.
