That is cause the security system is still in full active mode. If running the shut does procedure listed in the owners manual doesn’t work then the dealer is going to have to do a complete reset of that system. The later the model of vehicle the worse things get.

I'm guessing that's the security system. Why would you expect the engine to start with the anti-theft engaged?

you will have to go to the instruction manual, should still be in the glovebox, find the chapter on resetting this business~
