Lemon Law contestant???

Asked by FUBAR117 Nov 14, 2019 at 08:44 PM about the 2018 Ford EcoSport SES AWD

Question type: General

I'm leasing a 2018 Ford Ecosport and I have
had it since February 15. The car has been to
the dealership to get worked on almost every
month. First the door handles did not lock at
a person's touch if they had even a little
moisture on them. The USB ports kept dying.
The transmission was acting up, it took 3
tries before they fixed it. The windshield wiper
was missing parts. The hilltop assist failed
twice. The auto start was acting up and the
traction control would randomly disengage
and I had to put it in park and shut it off and
restart it to get it back on. It was at the
dealership for 3 weeks while they waited for
bolts for something in the steering column to
come from India where it's made. I have
about a half inch thick collection of ROs
"repair order" each page with multiple issues
listed. The dealership says it doesn't qualify
for the lemon law but I'm really hoping it
does. Can anyone verify one way or another.
Thanks

Since you are renting this car I doubt the Lemon Law applies to you. The owner is the leasing company. Ask them about it or contact a lawyer.
