Blown head gaskets, crack in the cylinder head. DIY kit at any parts store or a shop can run the test. Is there coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant? That is a sure sign if it that.

Coolant either drips to the ground or blows out the exhaust through the combustion process. So if you see no leaks, it's coming out the exhaust in the form of steam due to a blown head gasket, cracked head, or damaged intake manifold gasket. Also, this is fouling the sparkplugs and causing misfires. Soon it will affect the O2 sensors and likely destroy the catalytic converter. I'd recommend you skip the self-testing and go straight to a good mechanic to prevent any further damage that could run into an additional thousands of dollars.
