Yes. However, it depends on the width and back-spacing of the wheel and profile of the tire. Overall diameter of the tire and wheel (installed together) can be tricky and should be test fitted before hand to ensure there are no steering issues once paid for.

I have a 2001 G Caravan I wanted to replace the 15" steel wheels with 16" aluminum. seems to be a problem with the hub diameter??? steve

Some of the mid-'90's Intrepids had 16" wheels that would look great on a C'van, and I believe the bolt pattern is the same, however as stated above the problem is going to be OVERall width&height. I'm afraid to make it work you are going to have to go with such a low-pro tire that the ride will be horrible.
