Loud noise from starter area

On cold startup loud clinging noise like metal
on metal in starter/transmission area goes
away after driving for few minutes

You'd have to get into the area to find out for sure, but maybe something's loose or the bolts that connect the flex plate to the torque converter are loose or fell off. Might even be a broken Bendix.

Update I have removed the starter from the car jump started ruled out it’s not the starter because clinging noise still there in same area clinging goes away after car is warmed up
