Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have had this car for like 3 months replaced the radiator and thermostat
brand new and when I drive it around the overflow tank will bubble and the
temperature gauge will go up just a little bit I drove it up to Danville and
parked it outside of shoe sensation and came out after 5 minutes or so and
there was a pool of coolant under my car its got a 3.9L V6 it's a retired police
car

Most likely you have a bad water pump or cracked head. Might be a radiator hose leak or bad connection, but that would be too lucky.

Not good, sounds like a blown head gasket problem, you can buy a DIY kit from your local parts store and just follow the directions.

A worn out timing chain can cause heat soaking (what you're describing). Does the engine also lack power? Does the transmission shift late? More systems of a worn timing chain. Hope that helps! Jim

Any white smoke out the tail pipe when first started cold, maybe a slight misfire when first started? Not enough for the check engine light to turn on. I'm still leaning to a blown headgasket.
