2008 Ram 1500 4.7 intermittent misfires multiple cylinders
Just bought a tired old truck to support remodel project. 218k miles. Appears
all original, no leaks, good oil pressure, good temp, starts right up, idles,
does not smoke, no hot cats smell. Lots of P codes, lots of misfires,
sluggish, hard to get over 40mph, have driven about 60 miles on 3 road
tests. CPS is good. Cleaned throttle body with TB cleaner. Replaced plugs,
checking each cylinder for compression and inline spark tester with the new
plugs (all were good, cyls 120-150psi), good fuel pressure, but proactively
replaced all injectors. No change in performance after any of this work.
Wondering what to check next?
