What does it mean when a bunch of dash lights come on all at once? Not all of them, just the following: check engine, maint reqd, vsc off, and the traction control light.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

These lights do occasionally go off but they
always eventually come back on. Can
anybody help me shed some light on this
weird problem?

if all of them come on is it when you start the vehicle means it is running a system check and if anything is wrong with one of those the light will not go off

Well, they come on and stay on. And its only those lights. Nothing else. And once in a while when i start the car, NONE of them come on. So it's just really confusing!

More than likely it is a bad sensor reading,if it doe,s it randomly, and car runs normal.

So you think it's not something really seriously expensive to fix? I was actually told by a friend that it's Serious wiring issue. But in response to your answer, it is random although they're on more than they're off And besides the car needing some tranny fluid, it runs just fine!
