Is there any way to change a Dodge Charger SE to a Dodge Charger RT??

Asked by Boston May 08, 2012 at 07:00 PM about the 2008 Dodge Charger SE RWD

Question type: Car Customization

I don't know squat about cars at all. I have an 08 charger se and obviously that engine is garbage...not very strong and doesn't have that muscle feel that I like. Is it just simple as putting a hemi into it or how can I upgrade it to an RT. Would I have to just buy the RT model?? please help...clueless here!!!

I dont know about changing it to a RT. If you want power put a supercharger kit on it. It will blow a RT out of the water.

Go with Chase's answer. A blower in a SE charger can run you almost $10,000 for it to be done properly and you still have an SE that can now run 13's in the quarter.

It depends which SE it is because the SE came in the V6 and the V8 hemi options
