Car alarm going off after heavy rain...

Try drying the car out and hope that your problems stop.

The inside didn't really get wet, it's just from getting in and out of the car that water got on the handle where the buttons/switches are. Yes, I'm hoping they will be fine when dried out. The driver's side lock already was not working except with the key fob. But, then the alarm kept going off last night and today. I kept the doors open or while in the sun today. The "door ajar" light is no longer coming on. But I used the passenger's side button to just lock the car for now. I'll try with the fob in the morning to see if it goes off again.

If you can, leave the hood open with the car out in the sun.

If you have a garage or car port you should use it.

Believe me in this heat where I live I don't need to leave anything open for it to dry out...and I don't have an carport or garage, so yeah....thanks though.

Air circulation helps which is why I recommend opening everything up.
