I think you're misreading the code. The actual error code is represented by segments which stay on between 88 flashes.

Thank you, this was helpful. Based on the diagram you provided it was a code s which is a blower circuit issue. Unfortunately I do not know what to check next. Any suggestions?

First of all check the blower motor harness connector (plug which goes into the motor). Motor is located behind the glove box compartment. If wiring is OK (not melted\damaged etc) check fuses. Related fuses are: #3 (inside) and 40A (#56) (under the hood). If fuses are OK check voltage in the blower motor harness connector (turn on the car, turn on the heater, max flow). If voltage is fine (>12V) then probably the motor is dead.

Anyone still around in this? I only get 10.4 volts at the blower motor harness. Have fried 2 resistors on 08 TSX this week. Motor bad?
