When any Ford won't start, the first thing to check is the inertial cut off. On the Panther cars, it is normally located on the driver's side trunk hinge. There is a red or orange button on it. Make sure that is depressed. It is there to cut off the fuel supply in case of a collision, but it can be tripped by other things.
