Are alternators interchangeable?
Can I take an alternator from a 2004 Honda Accord
and use it in my 2008 Honda Accord?

Do an alternator search on a parts store website for both vehicles and see if the part numbers match.
No, you would need to find another Alternator from a 2008 to 2012 Accord and the correct Amp rating. There was three different amp rated alternators used between the 2.4L and 3.5L engine.
