no ground to 98 ram 1500 crank sensor

checked coil  and ignition on 98 ram 1500 my crank no start is from no ground
to crank sensor ho do i rectify this so the 98 my mopar is alive again

If you haven't replaced the crank sensor then perhaps you should. Could also be distributor pick up assembly

yes the crank sensor was changed aswell with the coil pick up the pobing during the testing was on the engine side of the wiring harness

the new crank sensor is NOT receiving ground from ecu so this i know during the testing of the crank sensor probing was done from engine side of wiring harness to the sensor the ground is sent from NOT the chassey but from ecu so is it the ecu i have to replace or is it opening up the harness from ecu to plug connection to c.sensor

I personally had only one ecu problem in the past related to both injector bank grounds and yes replacing the ECU did the trick

The crank sensor and cam sensor both checked ? The pick up inside the distributor acts as a cam sensor. I believe the crank sensor itself is grounded when attached but not sure.
