Towing dodge Dakota 4WD behind RV using a tow bar or car dolly

Have 2011 dodge Dakota. 4wd. Can I safely pull behind MH using a car dolly
or a tow bar?

Make sure it's in 2 wheel drive , and raise drive tires (normally rear tires when set to 2 wheel drive). This is the smartest route to go because it releases drive gears from front tires to prevent damage from towing. And if something does end up happening you can put it in 4 wheel drive to "limp" to a mechanic and avoid a towing charge

Dont forget a set of tow lights to put on the front so others can be warned of stopping and turning

You need towing brakes installed in the Dakota. You will also need to disconnect the driveshaft unless you can put the transfer case into neutral.
