Block heater installation

Asked by GuruDZGG55 Jan 10, 2024 at 02:52 PM about the Chrysler Sebring

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How hard is it to install a block heater on a 2007 Chrysler Sebring?

307,435

That all depends on what type of heater you want. A freeze plug heater is the most labor intensive so it is the most expensive one, the percolator unit that hooks into the heater hoses is the next one, then there are the magnetic one that attach to the oil pan or engine block with a powerful magnet, and that one you can do yourself. Then there is the oil dipstick heater, not recommended.
