why are the brakes pushing to the floor to stop?

Sounds dangerous- be careful- could be a fluid leak- look under the car at the insides of the wheels- back wheels too- are they wet? look around the master cylinder- just guessin', but if there's no fluid leak, sounds like a bad master cylinder- take it to a mechanic- towing would be safer- do you have AAA? let them fix it WITHOUT guessin'

Agreed. Your Master Cylinder has probably blown a seal internally. Don't drive it.
