Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Can anyone help with this: i just purchased this car a few weeks ago and already spent over $2400 dollars on it! the camshaft, camshaft follower, and fuel pump were all damaged extensively thanks to AUDI engineering.

after getting new parts (no recalls yet) i now have an engine ligh, 4 codes popped up:
P0333, P0441, P0171, P0333 (again).

Can anyone tell me why the knock sensor circuit is noting "high input on bank 2?"
i hear a loud knocking from the engine, the more you accelerate the louder it gets, what is that?

well, the knocking is why you are getting the p0333. not good. who put the motor back together when you replaced the cams? i would say that's the culprit. p0171: try cleaning your MAF with some MAF cleaner. probably the problem. p0441: check and make sure the guy who did an awesome job putting your motor back together didn't forget to attach any vacuum lines. probably nothing major. but i would say if your engine is knocking you get rid of it. I've got a 2002 dolphin grey 1.8T Quattro in mint condition w/ 75k on it I'll sell you for $9500. Timing belt was just done by me and i can guarantee you it will last years longer than your 06.

oh, and Audi engineering makes a flawless motor. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the previous owners...
