Is it ok to put different size tires on the

Can I put 235/70 16 on the front of my 01 f150 if I
have 255/70 16s on the back

Here is a visual of the differences. The answer mostly depends on if its 4WD and if you like it. Can you? Yes. Emergency? Ok. Should you? No. The wheels turn at slightly different speeds and it puts stress on expensive parts, changes alignment...nothing good.
