not getting fue

so my girlfriend put gas in her truck yesterday, it sputterd then straitend out then
jst died pule the fuel pump its not sending fuel, the wierd thing is her truck said
check charing system when it died , is there a reset ? ive replacedthe relay and
cked the fuses im at a loss, someone plese help

The alternator may be bad , the vehicle may shut down because of it , you need a multi tester to see if you have 14+ volts at the batt when it'a running , a good batt should have 12.5 at rest engine off , don't make a new alternator charge a low batt. But if it has a gel battery I'm not sure if you can go with that .

But we put a new battery in it and it just cranks , had someone tell me the harmonic balancer, I'm at a loss I will have the alternator cked tomorrow but would that cause it to not send fuel
