2009 mercury mariner

Asked by Marina1112 Jan 13, 2009 at 09:18 PM about the 2009 Mercury Mariner

Question type: General

I just recently purchased a 2009 4 cylinder Mercury Mariner, I have noticed that on the initial acceleration between 40mph and 45 mph I feel a re-vibration through the gas pedal.  This occurs during low and normal rpm's.  Our dealer says it is a normal for this type of car.

Thank you.

I also purchased a 2009 Mercury Mariner,V6 and noticed that on initial acceleration between 40 to 45 mph feel vibration through the gas pedal. I do not like this at all. My dealer said he does not know how to fix this annoying feeling. I had filed a complaint to Ford. Wished I had bought a different car.I do not think that this should be normal.
