06 dodge magnum cut off and wont start

Asked by GuruYN24D Mar 16, 2018 at 07:53 PM about the 2006 Dodge Magnum

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving car home and it was
running fine then all of a sudden it ran
hot and heat started blowing cold air
then the engine started making a
weird sound when trying to accelerate
and all of a sudden the car cut off .
Tried starting it but key wouldn't turn
over then I had it jumped off , it turned
over but made like a "vaccuum" or
"whirring" type sound and wouldn't
start. Anyone have any ideas what it
could be?

Maybe the car was overheating and you did not notice until it was too hot? Perhaps it blew a gasket.
