2023 Kia Telluride Reviews Summary

Kia can barely keep up with demand for the Telluride, and its dealers and customers have told the company not to change a single thing, so you’d think it unnecessary for the automaker to invest a single penny upgrading the popular three-row crossover SUV.

Kia would disagree.

This year, the 2023 Telluride gets minor styling changes, new technologies, and some off-roading attitude in the form of new X-Line and X-Pro trim levels. We headed to San Antonio, Texas, which has somehow become the seventh most populous city in the U.S., to sample the Telluride’s new kit. And we remain impressed with this excellent family-size sport-ute.

2024 MINI Countryman Reviews Summary

The new Countryman arrives next year and we know at least one version of the 2025 Countryman will be electric, if not all of them. In the meantime, the 2024 Mini Countryman enters its eighth year in second-generation spec. The base Cooper model comes only in Classic trim this year, the Signature trim package adds a standard navigation system, and the Cooper SE plug-in hybrid is more appealing thanks to a lower-priced base version and more standard features in the top-of-the-line Iconic trim package.

The 2023 Kia Telluride, particularly in its X-Line and X-Pro models, showcased a refreshed design with updated front and rear styling, new headlights and taillights, and a selection of new paint colors like Midnight Lake Blue and Jungle Green. The interior also received updates, including new color options and a digital instrumentation panel paired with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The X-Line model featured a raised suspension and unique design elements, while the X-Pro model added all-terrain tires and exclusive wheels, enhancing its off-road appeal. Despite these changes, the interior updates were subtle, focusing on functionality and minor trim changes.

In contrast, the 2024 MINI Countryman embraced its classic Mini styling with a distinctive wraparound windshield, floating roof, and Union Jack tail lights. The Countryman offered a variety of paint and wheel options, allowing for personalization. The interior, especially in the Iconic trim, featured premium leather upholstery, power-adjustable heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. The Countryman provided a unique driving experience with its upright seating position and compact dimensions, making it easy to maneuver and park. However, it lacked some modern technologies like a surround-view camera, relying instead on parking sensors and a reversing camera.
