hi all, this car has decent power but it is stunning when it comes to the corners, the gearbox is crap at the automatic but on semi auto it is acceptable. appearance, looks cool, from inside it gives a nice feeling. the low driver position with the also low top might be annoying when getting out of the car but while driving it is cool. at 100k kilometers the engine give out and i swapped, cost about 1,5k euro. This is a HELL OF A FUN CAR TO DRIVE!!!!!!!!!Dec 04, 2011

This car is sooo much fun to drive. The mpg is good - 290 miles on a tank of fuel. you can pick up one for £5000 and up. Sticks to the road on the straights and in the bends. Love it!Jul 27, 2009

not excatly fast, or economical but you dont care about things like that when you having that much fun
700cc engines with 100+bhp, after re-maping but will happy chase performace cars around the twistys in standard spec
0-60 in around 10 seconds, with 3 gears to go though and its semi auto box is dead slow
Leaks are ment to be a big problem, but i havent had a single problem

reliable sexi and very very cheap to run, every one
must own 1!

50+ MPG, rear-wheel-drive, turbocharged to 85 BHP - what's not to like? I've been driving this car for over 5 years now and it always puts a smile on my face. Sure it's mostly plastic and the gearbox has a mind of it's own, but overall it's an absolute hoot. Wonderful!Mar 04, 2009

The performance on this car is amazing concidering its size. It handles better than most cars. As for the buildqulity it is often slated in the press for leaking, but with these sorted it can be and is, a brilliant car. The exterior lines are beautiful and flowing, and although the interior can be a bit monotnous its functional and applicable for a roadster. Gas milage is great, my personal best is 5.2l on 100 km. Servicing is reasonable, though it can be pricey sometimes. In term of FUN this car can not be beaten.....this car is more fun than anything I have ever been in.Dec 15, 2008

The only smart worth owning. There's enough of power after BIG Performance remap to make it feel as fast as it looks and still you can easily achive fuel consumpition below 5 liters per 100 km in everyday driving. Handling is suberb, corners like a real sportscar and breaks are as good as it gets on a road car. Sep 12, 2008

I bought this car in 2004 with a hair over 500 miles on the clock. This was a show car.
The handling from this car is very good, but the Smart is Too small and too expensive for this size.
Style and performance is good.

700Kg weight, Rear engine, 3m20 long and 1m18 tall... Very short semi-automatic gearbox (6 gears), Brakes like a Porsche and handle like a Kart. 2 boxes for luggages (Front and Rear !), Sounds great and looks good !Feb 13, 2008
